TERMS & CONDITIONS — THE SALON CEO DAY
Event: The Salon CEO Day
Date: 22 February 2026
Venue: The Langham, Gold Coast
Organiser: Lauren Lappin Pty Ltd ABN 69 660 376 956 (“we”, “us”, “the organiser”)
By purchasing a ticket, you (“you”, “the attendee”) agree to the following Terms and Conditions.
1. Ticket Purchase & Payment
1.1 All ticket prices are stated in Australian Dollars (AUD) and exclude GST.
1.2 Tickets must be paid in full at checkout unless the attendee selects an approved payment plan.
1.3 Payment plans are available until 18 January 2026, after which only pay-in-full options may be purchased.
1.4 By selecting a payment plan, you authorise Lauren Lappin Pty Ltd and its payment processor to debit all scheduled instalments from your nominated payment method.
1.5 It is your responsibility to ensure all payments are completed. Failed, missed, or declined payments may result in your ticket being cancelled without refund.
2. Refunds, Transfers & Cancellations
2.1 All ticket sales (including General Admission, VIP, Pay-in-Full, and Payment Plans) are strictly final and non-refundable.
2.2 If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your ticket to another person at no additional charge, provided written notice is received by 14 February 2026.
2.3 Ticket transfers must be requested by email to [email protected], including the full name and contact details of the new attendee.
2.4 No refunds are provided for change of mind, personal circumstances, illness, scheduling conflicts, travel disruptions, or failure to attend.
2.5 If the event is cancelled or rescheduled by us, you will be offered either:
- a full refund, or
- the option to transfer your ticket to the new date.
2.6 We are not responsible for any associated costs (e.g., accommodation, flights, transport) if the event is cancelled or rescheduled.
3. What Your Ticket Includes
3.1 Your ticket includes the components specified on the event sales page at the time of purchase corresponding to your ticket type (General Admission or General Admission + VIP Upgrade).
3.2 The VIP Dinner Add-On includes attendance at the post-event dinner at Yamagen Japanese Restaurant.
3.3 Your ticket does not include:
- accommodation
- flights or transport
- parking
- travel insurance
- additional meals, beverages, or incidental expenses
3.4 You acknowledge that all travel and accommodation costs are your responsibility.
4. Event Changes
4.1 The organiser reserves the right to adjust the event schedule, session content, speakers, or format where reasonably required (e.g., illness, venue restrictions, unforeseen circumstances).
4.2 Any changes will not materially reduce the value of the event and will not entitle attendees to a refund.
4.3 If an unforeseen circumstance impacts the venue, we will endeavour to relocate, reschedule, or adapt the event as needed.
5. Behaviour, Conduct & Removal
5.1 You agree to behave respectfully and professionally toward all attendees, staff, and facilitators.
5.2 Lauren Lappin Pty Ltd reserves the right to remove any attendee whose behaviour is disruptive, unsafe, discriminatory, intoxicated, or inappropriate.
5.3 Removal from the event for breach of conduct will not entitle you to a refund.
6. Health, Safety & Risk
6.1 You participate voluntarily and acknowledge that you are responsible for your own wellbeing during the event.
6.2 You agree to comply with any safety instructions, venue requirements, or reasonable directions given by staff.
6.3 Lauren Lappin Pty Ltd is not liable for injuries or health issues arising from circumstances outside its control.
7. Photography, Filming & Media Use
7.1 Photography and videography may occur during the event.
7.2 By attending, you grant Lauren Lappin Pty Ltd permission to use images, recordings, and testimonials featuring you for promotional, educational, or marketing purposes (digital or print).
7.3 If you prefer not to appear in media, you must notify us in writing prior to the event and again at check-in.
8. Intellectual Property & Materials
8.1 All event materials — including slides, workbooks, templates, frameworks, and digital resources — remain the intellectual property of Lauren Lappin Pty Ltd.
8.2 Materials are provided for personal use only and must not be copied, shared, distributed, or reproduced without written permission.
8.3 AI prompt libraries supplied during the event are licensed for individual attendee use only.
9. Personal Responsibility & Disclaimer
9.1 The Salon CEO Day provides education, strategy, and leadership guidance. It does not guarantee business or financial results.
9.2 You acknowledge that any decisions, actions, or outcomes following the event are solely your responsibility.
9.3 Lauren Lappin Pty Ltd is not liable for losses or damages arising from reliance on event content, coaching, or discussions.
10. Limitation of Liability
10.1 To the maximum extent permitted under Australian law, Lauren Lappin Pty Ltd is not liable for:
- travel and accommodation expenses
- business or personal losses
- indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- lost income or opportunities
- theft, loss, or damage to personal property
10.2 Our total liability is limited to the price paid for your ticket.
11. Privacy
11.1 Personal information collected during registration is used solely for event administration, communication, and service delivery.
11.2 Your information will not be shared with third parties except where required for event logistics (e.g., venue dietary requirements, payment processing).
11.3 Our Privacy Policy applies to all purchases.
